Before You Write

Common questions.

Will the firm review my matter without obligation?

Yes. Our initial consultation — typically a thirty-minute call — is provided without charge. If we conclude that we are not the right firm for your matter, we will say so directly and, where possible, refer you to colleagues we trust.

Do I need to be based in the Netherlands?

No. The majority of our clients are based outside of the Netherlands. We routinely act for clients across more than forty jurisdictions worldwide — from individual founders in Singapore to established brands in California to family businesses in Germany.

How quickly can the firm act?

In most payment processor hold matters, a formal demand letter can be on its way within five to seven business days of engagement, once the necessary documentation is in hand. IP takedowns and urgent contract reviews can often be handled even faster.

Is my correspondence confidential?

All correspondence with the firm is treated as confidential. Once a written engagement letter is in place, communications are additionally protected by legal professional privilege under Dutch law.

What languages does the firm work in?

Our primary working language is English. We also routinely correspond in Dutch and German, and through our international network we can conduct matters in twelve languages in total.
